It's a normal working day for most up here, but the BBC have always taken English bank holidays, so there won't be anything on the news about it.

Oh wait, SNP baaaad, as you were.

If you can't run a political party, you can't run a country, let alone create a new one.

Peter Murrell pleads guilty to charges.

Strange how this was timed to be after the recent elections?

That was quite surprising, wasn't it - considering how oddly coincidental the timing of many of the high-profile Operation Branchform activities were in the run-up to the 2024 GE - where the SNP lost 39 seats just a few weeks after news of Murrell being charged became relentless, screaming headline news.

You can't help but wonder if someone, somewhere thought that a similar 'coincidence' this year might be a little bit too blatant, & might even backfire. If so, I expect they're kicking the living shit out of themselves right now.

Scotland's shite, remember. Couldn't wipe its own arse without some sneering Eton cunt reading out the instructions.

We may well mock Scotland and the SNP but I notice a marked difference in how these things are handled north of the border compared to in the south. Corruption at Westminster? That's just day to day business.

Good job his wife never noticed any of this going on under her nose. Mind you, it wasn't the only thing she didn't notice about him. Allegedly.

We may well mock Scotland and the SNP...

Just as an aside (and I agree entirely with your broader point) I'd urge anyone who automatically agrees with this assertion (and I think most people south of the probably border would) to wonder why that is, and then to have a think about what you know about Scotland & the SNP - then ask yourself how you found all that out, and then ask yourself who told you.
