He is from Edinburgh but she's from Glasgow. This could be the smoking gun.
With everything else going on in a certain, major, large country south west(ish) of us, does this not put into perspective how small politics is here in comparison?
Another perspective: the whole of Scotland only has four times the length of roads that we've got in Devon.

It does raise some awkward questions for her but I expect those can't really be asked until after his legal difficulties are over. I did laugh a bit when the shopping list was given out. Amongst all the luxury brands, he shops at Wayfair lol.

He probably said the truth, that they are company assets bought by the SNP for use at party events.
He just didn’t explain that he’s not really allowed to do that.
I can't recall what her defence was, just naivity of it all I think. I'd probably ask my other half exactly how much he paid for his handmade leather brogues by Church never mind where the new Jag came from.
IF it is true/proved, I dont see how Nicola can claim she did not notice that their standard of living was approximately £35,000pa higher than their income.

Probably this.
Sturgeon isn't even part of the investigation (currently, and I don't think she will be), but with an election coming up in a few months, might as well fire up the "SNP bad" line.
Can we make do with the SNP is innumerate line?
Not only was all of this missed, but they basically couldn't run party HQ finances, spent a ton of money refitting offices with it's own radio studio, then left that office about a year later and made half the staff redundant.
All while cranking up in one tax.and pretending that most people pay less (about half pay about £1.50 a year less than the rest of the UK, don't spend it all at once, and the other half pay hundreds or thousands more).
So yeah. Innumeracy seems to be the issue.
