Yes, but he is largely inconsequential. More consequential is the governing party and the then head thereof not being able to organise a pis3 up in a brewery. You keep ducking the reason why this is news, which is if it's not criminality then it is incompetence. Take your pick.

Inconsequential?

I'm ducking f*ck all.

I don't need to take a pick.

The criminal is Murrell.

It's Murrell who betrayed the party, his wife, and whatever morality he had.

I hope that's clear enough for you.

I understand that the UK is correctly described as a unitary state, not a country.
Depends who you ask. Some people consider Scotland a region. In many ways it is more integrated in the UK than some provinces or US states.

Scotland has its own legal system, a separate parliament, and can print its own currency.

What currency can it print? As I understand things an independent Scotland could only use Sterling in the same way that Zimbabwe can use the US Dollar, ie it wouldn't have its own central bank and it couldn't therefore set interest rates or monetary policy. That's even before we focus on the problems it might face issuing it's own currency and the likely effects that would follow from that (DYOR).

Have we got to the point where we're blaming the actual criminal, who has had admitted his crimes?

Peter Murrell.

Or is it still Nicola Sturgeon's fault?

I think we're all happy to blame Murrell who has (finally) admitted his guilt, it's just that some of us are having a hard time believing that she was blissfully unaware of how her other half was funding his Emelda Marcos style shopping sprees. You're free to take her at her word and we're free to be less credulous.

I dunno if people are on the f*cking wind up or blissfully unaware of Scotland.
Scotland makes a disproportionate amount of noise. It is also over represented per capita in Westminster, and gets about £2k more per person in UK govt funding. And yet you still complain.

FYI, the biggest reason for the colossal budget black hole is not as the SNP would argue that Westminster is stingy, but a result of devolving income tax.

It means Holyrood needed to find 4% more to offset the lost Barnett consequentials. Or spend less. It's done neither of those things.

So if Subsidy Junkie Scotland's such a huge drain on the UK economy - why the desperation to cling on to the dead weight? Never once heard an explanation for that one.

Exactly. If youse hate us so much, tell us to get tae.

Remember how it looked like we might f*ck off, then everyone got on trains to save the union?

Because of the Queen or some flags or whatever?

Just concern for your welfare, and people like to visit the festival without a hard border.

Honestly, I don't think all that many people outside of Scotland care. They should, for longer term reasons and for more subtle reasons.

Politicians would need to think about energy infrastructure, defense and border issues, as well as the SNPs suicidal threat to disown it's share of the national debt, but in the short term it would probably save money. I could easily see resolutions on these points that are a lose for both sides.

Nigel Farage would love this thread, he takes a £5million 'gift' from some shady Anglo-Thai crypto billionnaire, pretends the Russians hacked his phone, his partners spends £885k cash on a house and then refuses to answer questions on it. Barely mentioned anywhere on NCAP. All the while the forum has now spent three days solid mulling over Nicola Sturgeon and her thieving husbands 2 hairdryers 😂

I think you'll find that Farage's detractors on here have been having a field day over that.

I'd like the authorities to establish whether she knew what Murrell was doing and whether she was in any way complicit with his illegal actions or by turning a blind eye, facilitated what he did. Then act accordingly.
Yeah, cut the snowflake Leftie bollocks tactics and start the witch trial now. (Bloody ECHR).

So - I'm genuinely curious here. What do you all want?

Do you want to see Sturgeon re-arrested & interrogated for hours, days, months - as long as it takes until she breaks down and admits it was her all along? Then sentenced to 20+ years - in a male prison, because - well, just look at her, you never can really tell, can you?

Or maybe just seeing her relentlessly pursued, slandered, attacked and abused, allowed no peace until her life's entirely destroyed - would that give you the warm glow of smug, self-righteous satisfaction you crave?

Or is there a broader aim? Destroy the SNP, because they're all as guilty as The Murrell Gang of stealing donated funds from themselves? Maybe you feel in the face of this, the Scottish election result should be declared null & void, and the real election held as a demonstration of public rejection and disgust at this inept, illegitimate pack of crooks and their twisted separatist agenda - a de-facto independence referendum even, but with only right-wing Unionist parties allowed on the ballot. That'd "tell them again" wouldn't it?

So come on - what do you want to happen?

Personally, I don’t want anything to “happen”, to her, I simply stated an opinion that I found it hard to believe she did not notice the expenditure levels, and, if she didn’t, then a lack of awareness seemed likely.

No, no, no - StevoT1000 here & all of the right-wing shriekers have feels, and as we all know by now, feels - particularly right-wing feels - trump facts & findings every single time, and until the facts & findings align with their special, sixth-sense feels, they will never be happy.

So they'll never be happy. Poor, stupid, helpless, hopeless little cunts.

I said these things need to be clarified, so either you haven't read my post or you didn't understand it. Try again, but maybe calm down and take your time first.
