Odd when men die earlier than women and are notorious poor at seeking medical attention.

It's November, which has been a time when men's health issues get a big charity push for ages.

Events such as Movember or Breast Cancer Awareness are promoted by charities and I would guess that there are a not dissimilar number of women/men/gender neutral events run across the UK throughout the year.

The issues around the gender health gap are due to the strategies, approaches and assumptions of the health service providers and practitioners.
