I have not formed an opinion without evidence. I have just said "if".
Either he knew or didn't know. If I said he did know, or must have known, that would be speculation.

As people are affecting to be so interested in the letter of the law (as if it actually applies to royals), it's is a strict liability offence, as I've had occasion to remind @slowmotion before. The cultivated credulousness of several commentators aside, it's not dependent on the punter/rapist knowing that the person supplied by the supplier/pimp has been trafficked (it's ridiculous to believe he didn't know, but we can leave that for the moment). The more likely legal loophole is that didn't pay for it, because he's belongs to the class of people who don't pay for anything.

I'm a man in my forties so about the same age as Prince Andrew at the time of the alleged incident and if seventeen year old girls suddenly started throwing themselves at me I think I would find it decidedly weird. I know people love to argue about the technicalities regarding age of consent and wave the DSM5 around or whatever when it comes to the strict definition of noncery but I promise you, it's farking weird and would creep me out.

On the other hand it's probably true to say that, were I a Prince than, irrespective of any other impediments I may have, women might have been more inclined to throw themselves at me.
