To me there are some really worrying aspects with regard to the Monarchy/Firm about the way things are beting "handled"
1. Andrew is supposedly no longer a member of the Royal Family yet access to papers from his time as Trade Envoy is still subject to the 60 yeasr Royal Perogative. He's supposedly lost his royal status yet we still can't see what he was doing in our names with our money under the standard 20 year release of the papers. Even more significant as evidence is emerging about how information was passed to 3rd parties.
2. The King has said "... we stand ready to support them as you would expect". The very idea they would not cooperate with the Police sort of raises major questions. Why is it necessary to say that on this occasion they'll support the Police - they should be doing that under every situation without having to think twice.
