I see the BBC reporting is still trying to shield him somewhat, even now, with this bit of nonsense (in bold):

“In a posthumous memoir, Virginia Giuffre repeated allegations that, as a teenager, she had sex with Prince Andrew on three separate occasions – Andrew has always denied the claims”

The agreement he signed (paying £11M to a woman he claimed he’d never met, and for something he claimed he didn’t do), stipulated that he would no longer deny meeting Ms Giuffre nor deny having raped her.

I can honestly say, I have zero interest in or concern for his hardships or otherwise, but, I do care if a knee jerk decision ends up costing the public finances even more than now.
