you need to tighten up your terms and conditions, IMHO. I accept Order Requests, but, they are only serviced on Thursdays, at 06:30am 😊

They'd starve.

We don't use supermarkets, just local shops within walking distance.

We have two supermarkets within walking distance (if you call one mile walking distance)...four if you count Aldi and Lidl. Because of that the local shops are specialised and limited, but sadly that's life for most of the country.

The ASDA supermarket IS within walking distance (ie approx 0.5 miles).

Interestingly, whilst travelling on the bus, yesterday, alone what I suppose passes for "the High Street", I noticed that:

a) there were no visibly empty shops
b) very shop was either, a hairdresser, a vape shop, a nail bar

It’s what the public want innit.

Coincidentally,. all three are excellent fronts for money laundering.

We are seeing the same here. In a local parade of shops we have an off license, then 50m down a co-op. Over the road we have a newsagent. It's been that way for years.

Next to the co-op we have a Turkish barber (around for about 5 years) and opposite them was another Turkish Barber (around for about 7 years).

In the last month, the barber shop next to the newsagent has closed down and has now reopened as a corner shop type store. It has no customers. None. Nada, Zip. There is no sensible explanation for opening a shop selling sweets and vapes, next to a shop that sells sweets and vapes, opposite a supermarket that sells sweets and vapes more cheaply which is just down from an off-license which sells sweets and vapes.

Our high street is also full of nail bars and vape shops, none of which accept contactless or credit / debit cards...

We do have three supermarkets 20mins walk away. We probably visit them once or twice a year for items we can't get elsewhere - e.g. bulk-buy loo rolls.

In one direction I have a big Sainsbury, and M&S Food and an Aldi. That's probably 25 minutes walk but there is a co-op 10 minutes walk away. In the other direction we have a medium sized Tesco about 30 mins walk away. I mostly frequent the Tesco and the M&S Food, as both have free parking. Sainsbury is no good for pop-ins as you have to spend at least £15 to get free parking.

We don't buy supermarket meat, milk or bread. The only time I get veg from one is when I'm cooking for one of my events. Even that might change as there's a local chap just opened a greengrocer's 5 mins down the road.

The only place near that doesn't sell supermarket meat, milk or bread is Garson's Farm. If you are buying those there, you need to have a very large wallet. The food is wonderful but very expensive.
