There's this statement in the guardian about social media posts by Farage regarding a press photographer taking pictures of the house bought in cash by Farage.

Is famous freeze peach advocate Farage feeling the heat of the scrutiny?

He wants to frighten the press, like Trump, by trying to get his thuggish followers to harass people who dare try to scrutinise his shenanigans (or even just to treat him like other, normal politicians).

Wonder if Fárage realises that get paid £1.5m doesn't mean you can buy something costing £1.4m. That £1.5m will be subject to tax. ...

I wonder if that amount has been verified by ITV, given that it's 3x as much as anyone else has ever been paid.
