Largely the Conservative party or have you not noticed that where Reform do well, the Conservatives do badly and that most of Boris Johnsons's cabinet are now in Reform.

As I have pointed out numerous times, not many conservative voters in my area, Reform rampant, Labour wiped out.

Fagash resigns as MP for Clacton and will stand again in the by election he triggered.

Well, the residents of Clacton may actually see him in person, how novel…

Dear sweet Henry of the Beeb……

The good folks of Clacton are a higher political authority now. Makerfield says “hold my pint”.

It is worth stating that if Nigel Farage were to win this Clacton by-election, investigations into him will resume. That is what Parliament's rules are.

So Farage isn't forcing this by-election in order to stop that investigation ever happening, he is doing it in order to appeal to a higher political authority than the House of Commons standards commissioner.

He is arguing: "I derive my mandate from the voters of Clacton."

It is a bold political gambit, and it could well determine the question of who has the opportunity to become Britain's prime minister at the next general election.

He is right. If Farage wins the by election then he will use the investigations into his finances the same way Trump did with the investigations into the insurrection. Farage will say how he is a victim of an establishment intent of thwarting the will of the people.

Farage is not going to give up on his project of turning the UK into a fascist hellhole.

He will win because Tories, Labour, Restore are not standing and i guess the others will follow suit.

So it will be meaningless.

He may just e paving his way for an exit. I listened to his resignation bollox and he cited reasons for his safety and his family's safety... and I though, well hang on,: how will their safety improve by being re-elected and jumping back into the mire? Has he got planning permission for a castle?

Maybe it has just dawned on him that by becoming a potential PM that the scrutiny will only get more intense.
And, he may actually have to do some work.

Someone will now doubt give him a gift to build one and there’ll be a friendly Reform council planning committee so who knows?!

Exactly I watched, he came across a total snowflake. Doesn’t he realise that all MPs specially the female ones have to face abuse, intimidation and threats all the time.

...and the investigations will continue.
A pointless exercise.

He will be able to rile up his base with the establishment trying to thwart the will of the people, have we learnt nothing from seeing what is happening in the US? A resounding defeat against another candidate would preclude that, but I don't think that is likely to happen.
