Heard that on the radio earlier.
Sounds like a thoroughly pleasant chap who is perfect for public office

To be fair you can’t expect Reform to find the money in their tight financial resources to properly vet their candidates. It’s not like they’ve got a load of random people throwing millions at them from all directions…

That article doesn't list everything. Seems nice.

We now know the answer to his own question.

If anyone hasn't watched the ITV Reform expose, I do recommend (provided you can get the ITVX player to work - it's shockingly bad!). What an awful bunch of canutes.

It's beginning to look like my thread title might end up being overtaken by events. I'd have preferred it if the Tories hadn't shifted so far onto Reform territory, but I guess we should be grateful for small mercies.

Caroline Voaden on the 'physical altercation' Farage was moaning about.
Which I believe was related to the fact that he hadn't filled in and signed the prayer card that reserves your seat in the commons, thus it had been removed.

There was a notable exchange in the Reform documentary. The undercover journalist who has been appointed press officer is attending a Reform party and meets Sarah Pochin MP. Her response is along the lines of "Oh thank f*** for that - we so need women press officers". "They are so f***** chauvinistic. I go out on all the shows, and go: 'Oh no, it's lovely, oh they're all so welcoming.' S***… they just exclude you if you're a woman… It's really tough being a girl with all of this alpha male s*** going on."

It does look as if the populist approach, corruption and lack of quality in its politicians, and weak foundations of Reform is leading/has led to its demise as a potential election winner.

This, combined with what I believe to be a stronger approach to debates and public announcements by Kemi Badenoch, despite what many on here believe to be her unfair policies, has led to them slowly but surely closing the gap with Labour in the polls.

The incumbents in elections have recently been shown to be very vulnerable because of the general air of dissatisfaction in the population so Burnham cannot feel safe, even with his current majority.

As I've said many times, government needs a strong, credible opposition to function properly and not to descend into chaos, as the Tories amply proved with their 80-seat majority while Corbyn led the 'opposition'. I'll do a Blakers and say I predicted the outcome over on Cake Stop: I reminded those who wanted a weak Labour Party that it would do no favours to the Tory Party if their wish came true.

Well yes, those who gleefully joined the Labour party (the £3 socialists) to vote in Corbyn as Labour leader in order to wipe out Labour for good are now reaping and weeping.
