Reform, and the death of the Tory Party

That's devoid of all logic. Labour had the most votes from working age people, slightly more from women than men, did better with degree level than the unqualified and pretty evenly across social groups.

I was kidding with Bob, but if a political party throws money at people do you think it makes them:
1. more likely to vote for that party, or
2. mess likely to vote for that party?

I am aware that reality is sometimes painful for lefties.

Quite ironic, given that it's the right that are more predisposed to conspiracy theories than the left. This is proven by the way, with facts and research and everything! However, the more extreme left and right, the more that both wings believe in them.
I'm not sure if there's anyone on here that would identify as extreme left wing 🤷‍♂️😜
Funny old world.

Nothing to do with bribing them to vote Tory?
Any evidence to support the last part of your sentence?

I am pretty sure far more people work for themselves now than in the late 1970s.

Surely not having to pay rent through retirement is a good thing, especially for those on lower incomes.
There's also the benefit of passing the property mortgage free to the next generation.

Right to buy was very, very popular, and changed the face of former council estates.

Two more gone from Kirklees Council. One of who has also left the party.

Calderdale, cracks are appearing, but non gone just yet. They've stopped a major set of road improvements(pedestrianisation) so "they can examine the costs".

On the plus side, they've finally got the Union Flag flying the correct way up on the Town Hall. Not always correctly flown, you're more likely to see it flying at half-mast these days.

Missing my point above.

To your second point, I'm sure that nobody on here would identify as far left...

Questionable.

Ironic, given that reality seems to be a bit of an issue for you.

It's almost as if lefties want people to be in social housing rather than own their own homes. I suppose it helps preserve the Labour voter base.
