Reform, and the death of the Tory Party

[briantrumpet]

Ah, but that is just your opinion. 😉
I fully expect everyone to ignore my opinions but some slip through.

It's a bit like when people think they aren't using metaphorical language. All it proves is that they don't know what metaphorical language is.

Language is a living thing though Brian.

Language is a living thing though Brian.

Literally.

Literally.

You are littorally living on the edge.

Some excellent work here from the Room Next Door:

[ebikeerwidnes]

My wife sent me this this morning

it keeps track of the Reform people who have been elected or whatever and have left/resigned/got chucked out

not sure if it has already been mentioned but I thought people might find it interesting

[Pross]

Hard to decide if this is just more performative shite or they are genuinely too thick to realise the Senedd has no powers to make such a ban. I could posibly give them credit for mentioning other face coverings which have no reason other than to conceal identity including protestors (news reports this morning on the independent radio station I listen to only mentioned it in relation to burkhas). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmd7qrew7z72o

What happened to the old arguments that burkas were oppression of women? Are we now worried they are all shoplifters or something?

Almost certainly, although we do have the precedent of France banning all face coverings.

… and Denmark. Probably a few others.
