Doesn't look like anyone's actually complained...

Like most people who chuck around the term "woke" he seems like a fairly angry old man shouting at a cloud.

I am sure I could find out, if I tried, but, instead, I will just "wonder", what is the proportion of the population of NZ which is "indigenous" as opposed to "immigrant"?

NZ was the last large land mass to be populated. (Other than Antarctica)
It was only populated in 1350, so there really aren’t any indigenous people. They are all immigrants.

Everyday is a school day, I can add that to the long list of things I didn't know 😊

On the basis of the bold bit, does ANYWHERE (except possibly Africa) have "indigenous" people?

I’m not sure what constitutes indigenous.

Nor me, which is why I doubt the point of returning to "indigenous" names, they are just the names assigned by the immigrants, before the latest immigrants assigned different names.

But, I don't live in NZ, and, don't intend to, so, my level of engagement is minimal.

Simple. Indigenous is "us". Immigrants are "them".
