It's the only weapon Russia has left.
Hopefully, the money to fund the war will run out sooner rather than later*. They are running out of troops on the ground and they are running out of the means to transport the troops (horses?! ffs). Prokrovsk and Kupyanski has been a massacre of Russian personnel.

*There's constant bombing of refineries. Ukraine hit another tanker just off the coast of Turkey just 2 days ago.

Russia launched a Nuclear missile (without a warhead) at Lviv.
Which didn't really do much damage but it's a $30m missile. Seems like they are desperate and running out of munitions.
