Seen as this thread has almost dropped off the front page, I thought I would bump it up given the recent strikes on apartment blocks and 2 busses as well as other strikes in Ukraine simply targeting civilians. Such is the nature of Putin's terrorism and lack of humanity in his desperate attempt to preserve his personal empire and nefarious ambitions.
However, Russia is suffering and with the impending winter, will suffer even more. We just hope it breaks soon.
- September totals for logistics: 770 trucks struck.
- Ormsk refinery struck in Siberia !? 2700km's from Ukraine.
- Yandex data centre in Sesovo struck - this serves as Cloud storage and website server for many many businesses. This was in retaliation to Russian targeting of Ukrainian technology. Ukraine vows to continue it's 'Digital detox'.
- Russian bonds facing massive interest rates on loans used to purchase them. The central bank printed money which was then given to banks so and the banks were ostensibly forced into purchasing govt, bonds... that should end well.
- Russian property market in freefall
- Despite a massive reduction in Russian oil export revenue, Russia is managing to prop up it's economy with global oil price hike. Russian Ural crude is @ $129 per barrel from just $49 per barrel pre Iran conflict. Thanks Trump you f*cking idiot.
- Zelensky meets with Ed Miliband and makes open plea to Musk as Starlink is not available to Ukraine to assist in repelling drone strikes. Musk doesn't care, he's a c*nt.
I'll bet all that is a huge comfort to the citizens of Kyiv and other Ukraine towns and cities as they have more people killed.
Russia has a long way to go before it gives up this war, if it ever does.
