You'll be able to get back to the normal football thread soon 😃
Nothing like a bit of 'Rage Bate', eh? 😆They might be getting in a spot of bother for their Malvinas/Falklands banner...

No doubt there will be folk calling for them to be kicked out of the competition.
Argentina deserved to go through. They did wa/hat was needed and scored more goals than England.
New season starts soon - World Cup is history
How is it history? You've still the third place playoff, which I know is often meaningless but both England and France have a point to prove so I suspect it could be quite a good game.
Only the pettiest of fans would be ignoring the final, I know a few of my pals who are planning a tapas night hoping that Spain will take Argentina apart.

Nothing petty about it at all.
My team are not involved. I have zero interest in who wins. It has no impact on my or my life. Why waste my time or energy on something that I have zero interest in?

It was a disappointing but unsurprising result. It always happens with us. We play a good first half and then seem to totally go off the boil. I do wonder what the manager said at half time; yes there were a lot of dirty challenges but for some of them it looked like dramatics, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I think the players let the dirty play get to them, when they should have ignored it all (he says, whilst sitting on a sofa and eating crisps)
The first half was rotten, largely down to Argentina. When youse were both actually playing football it was cracking, but shutting up shop after scoring killed you.
That's all on Tuchel. Still can't fathom what he thought was going to happen.
