The World Cup has always officially ended when England are knocked out. Haven't you noticed? Media coverage goes from full on to next to nothing.

Yes that's the case. Unfortunately England stayed on to the semifinals, so we've had to endure football coverage almost all the way through.

Do you watch your teams in league competitions even if they are not in with a chance of winning the league or getting promotion and are therefore losers?

If I'd known I could do this I would have stopped watching Killie years ago. Armed with this knowledge I can stop watching when we get papped out the cups early doors too, saving myself months of misery watching that bunch of losers.

When you say "They" will be selling them, who is "they"?
I'd guess it is connected to Donnie.

Beat me to it. This is a completely lawless administration, as anyone seeing bits from Todd Blanche's AG confirmation hearing will know. Utterly against both the spirit and letter of the law.

I would suspect its FIFA selling them or who authorised their production and getting a huge licencing fee

I don’t remember FIFA making 2000 extra winners medals at any previous tournaments.
Who would even want to buy one?
If you haven’t won it, it’s worthless IMO.

It’s the complete opposite to something like a Victoria Cross, which was specifically designed in bronze, so that it looks drab, and has no intrinsic value. Its sole value is the honour that comes with the award.

FIFA didn't make / sell rings at previous tournaments.
FIFA didn't have 48 teams at previous tournaments
FIFA didn't have hydration breaks at previous tournaments
FIFA didn't break the laws of the game with 30 minute half time breaks in the final in previous tournaments

Previous tournaments or behaviour are no guide for what FIFA will do
FIFA are prepared to do anything if it earns more money for them. Given the ring features copyrighted ( by FIFA) emblems and or words, its likely they have either licenced its production and sale or are doing it themselves

It seems these days to be all about money for FIFA. They seem to have no interest in tradition, class, or even the game itself

Previous tournaments were not held in the US with Donnie in charge.
One enables the other. See the "Peace Prize".

But they're winning. Surely you're interested in that?
