The poor lamb's still hurting. My heart bleeds.

I guess the easily offended are still smarting. And that includes you, judging by your need to reply to me :hello:

Discussion around the church's complicity in paedophilia and pederasty I would say does though, and I would suggest that could include jokes.
That's a serious subject, and v worthy of discussion. But:
Do you remember sheep-shagger jokes? I posit an enormous overlap between people posting those, and posting pederasty jokes.
Dya think they were concerned for the sheep?
And are pederasty jokes a good way to fix pederasty?

I don't see what they've done wrong here; they deleted post(s) that in their view were offensive (and presumably had been reported), but refused a request to close the thread, which for the most part was just harmless (if irreverent, in a Father-Ted-style way) fun and wordplay.

And yet they locked my thread celebrating Zombie Jesus Chocolate day?

Is there any other religion ruled by a single despotic (infallible) leader, who rules over his own country with its own bank, civil service, etc.?

Well, you would the expect the only true religion to be the most organised, wouldn’t you? 😂

Not really sure what that gif means, but I hope you're not offended by what I said 😉

Why are you stuck in the 1970's?

For the record: I don't get offended in a liberal woke way, I just don't find it funny. It's erm...

I couldn't find a copy of the 1983 Tory conference match program so I bought you a very early xmas present. It's a giant wallpaper; 12ft x 8ft.

I think the difference is that sheep shagger jokes weren't meant seriously, nobody thought bestiality was actually taking place. But paedophilia / pederasty jokes often seem to be made in a titillating manner, with little thought given to the very real victims. Consider the news over the weekend.

Of course jokes can be used as satire or commentary, or to bring attention to subjects which may otherwise be swept under the carpet. It can be difficult to know the intent of the person making the joke.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you there! (I clearly wasn't being clear ... )
