Just had a look. I got it. As soon as you mentioned him I wondered why anybody would be platforming a repeated plagiarist. I did read one of his books once. Can't say if it was plagiarised word for word but it was just a simmary of other people's work on the topic with a few lines stringing their advice together. He was quite a big deal at one point.

I confess I had to look up (as in research) your Gurkha pants. Stylish yet weird and freaky. Interesting.

Yeah he was massive on daytime TV, then had to quit his job and basically disappear from public life. Looks like he's in private practice now although his website still has clips of him doing Talk TV stuff.

Gurkha pants were obviously military in origin but I really like them. No need for a belt, just fit nice and snug.

The moderating of that thread made me laugh. Several posts got into clear political discussion and were edited accordingly by a mod, five posts if I remember correctly. Then my post, in which I referred to the Tesla as a swasticar, was completely deleted! Mine was the post that required the least intervention but it was fired off into the ether. 🤷‍♂️

I was THIS CLOSE to reporting those posts ... but then a number of very calm pro-vax posts were made, and the issue drifted away.
IIRC it was just ONE anti-vax poster, commenting purely from his own peculiar circumstances. Seemed like the right result to me, overall.

Also, most of the posts (mine included as the OP) were clearly to direct the discussion back on topic and to point our resident Trump fanatic over here for poliitcal discussion about *why* I've become less keen on a Tesla. I think Tesla need to divest themselves of Musk in a hurry if they want to keep overseas sales.

Well possibly although I don't really pay it any mind. I was meaning specifically the anti vax stuff. The person posting it does seem to have a knack for irritating me, although I guess we all need validation in our lives and some people get that by posting the entirety of theirs on a niche hobby forum 🤷‍♂️
