This plug is probably quite safe as with two pins on the right it isn't going to fit a BS socket. And if there isn't a pin under the terminal marked 'live' it could fit a socket but in that case the appliance neutral wire would be connected to mains live, with the appliance live wire connected to earth it would blow the fuse/trip the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
Hawkwind's effort was much better.

Just as weird is the 'offer' of AI keeping an AI version of someone who's died, so that relatives can carry on as if they haven't died.

I was chatting to my sister in law about some photos she had manipulated to show her grandmother interacting with her grandchildren that she never met.
She was gushing about how lovely it was. I was saying it’s just weird.
I wonder if people said the same thing when photos first appeared

What I think is absolutely awful are the adverts for the Galaxy (I believe) phones and Google that say if your friends text you for info why not get the phone to answer directly. (Presumably using AI).
Where is this dislike of actual person to person communication leading to? No wonder young people are growing up with so many hang-ups.

There was an item on BBC News, a few days ago, about Gen Z's work place 'Telephobia'; i.e. preferring E-Mails, Teams, etc. over phone conversations with colleagues.

It would appear that Gen Z has.. resistance to verbal communication, in a way, that others do not.

I would say that I cannot remember a single instance of any of our grandchildren using their phones as a phone.
