I guess that white British males never rape women. Either that, or Badenoch is blowing the racism dog whistle as loudly as she can.

It is saving a lot of time and effort

I have an other idea, that saves even more effort in dealing with the resident troll. Saves your Letraset too.

Just wondering, have you previously honed your 'HONK' gambit in your academic work? I guess that at least it would prove you're not trusting AI with writing your feedback.

'Cornerstone' by Arctic Monkeys is perhaps the only song in existence that references Letraset. Factoid of the day there for you.

Depends what metric you take.

If you take, say, morals, logic, consistency, empathy, persuasive use of language to help build a better fairer world for everyone, etc.,you have a point.

If you take the metric of how many likes, reshares and supportive comments she gets from paid-for blue ticks and bots on X, then she probably thinks she's doing just fine.

I’m quite old fashioned in that respect.

FWIW, the social-media-isation of politics is one reason it's gone so very wrong.

As a corrective, I've just starting watching this programme on Jim Callahan. It feels like it could be from 150 years ago. Not seen it before.

Two things remarkable about that - done in one take, I think without a full autocue script, and I think Walden's take on Callahan's sadness at his failure as PM and Leader of the Labour Party while trying to do the 'right thing' is powerful.

TBH, not sure what it says about modern politics, but still an interesting watch in historical terms.
