I said after I linked Justine Greening's Guardian article that Badenoch was in no way the person to lead them back to the centre, as Greening hoped she would.

Badenoch and her advisors can't be that thick. Having seen all the available evidence that copying Reform is a political and electoral disaster, I can only now assume she is still following that path because she believes in these policies.

Presumably because she makes her look slightly less horrendous, but it's a close call.

One of the downsides of being in Wales, other than the state of rugby, is that we have our very own version of Badenoch called Natsha Asghar. She does that same fake posh voice and condescending tone suggesting she is the brightest person in the room whilst the actual words that come out of her mouth disprove this. She also has a Truss like need for attention. I suspect she may defect to Reform at some point too (it will probably depend on where she sits on the list for the regional seats and whether she feels Reform provides a greater chance of getting elected).
