Actually makes me think you could do a sitcom of 14 years of Tory government, but set as estate agents, where everything goes wronger and wronger, including Truss demolishing houses she was supposed to be selling.

Made me think about the daftness of there politicians who keep talking about which taxes they'll cut. Cutting any tax is meaningless as it just means somebody else paying more. The real question (or the first question) is about specific cuts to spending are proposed and which taxes are reduced depends on lower spending.

And with increases in defence spending, higher debt repayments/interest, etc. it's looking like we'll need to be paying more in tax not less.

Being in opposition is easy. Just cut every tax and reduce every service. With no consequences.

Farage even admitted that he wished Reform hadn’t won control of a council recently because they had to make hard choices in the real world. And that makes Farage look bad.
