It's the poison that people want to get away from. Musk has made himself toxic, and therefore tainted his brands.
I see it as beyong his DOGY and far-right politics but also turning Twitter into a cesspool of abuse and fake news.

Choose your poison

Teslas are designed to kill their owners and those in their immediate vicinity in a variety of different ways - but don't appear to employ toxins.

Maybe it'll be in the next firmware update.

To be fair it's 674 to date and not all of those have the Tesla being solely at fault. Much of it is due to poor driving of the Tesla.

I'm shocked. It was probably 700 by the time I read this.

To be fair saying 674 is ''nearly 700'' is not really too much of an exaggeration.

Are those numbers just for the USA or global numbers?

Sort of puts it into context

2024 analysis by Horwitz Law, using 2018 NHTSA Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) data, identified the following manufacturers with the highest fatalities based on vehicles involved
in fatal crashes:

Ford: 7,354 fatalities

Chevrolet: 6,975 fatalities

Toyota: 4,401 fatalities

Tesla stock holders who still believe the fiction Der Auto Fuhrer excretes about new models etc., got themselves excited last week, only to discover it wasn't a Tesla.

Or choose a petrol engined car. Can't see me wanting to give mine up for a long time, too much fun 😎
I'll think of you next time there is a panic about petrol and diesel. Or next time I leave an ICE car standing at a set of traffic lights.

That's what a tank full of petrol is for...never been stranded.

So you're proud of your car's straight line perormance. That's good. What are the specs - power, torque, 0-60?

Apparently 282hp with 402lb-ft torque, 0-60 in 6 seconds (it's not a Tesla). I don't often need to go from 0 to 60 though. Usually 0-30 which I'd estimate to be around 2 seconds. I've also never been stranded.

Spoiler - almost everywhere you go has an electrical point of some sort.
