Apparently it’s the loony left who are causing all the problems?

I think the word "bought" might require a bit of clarification in this specific case
because it normally implies someone taking possession of an object in exchange fro money that is theirs

Donald's concept of paying people for things has always been a bit "elastic" and I think in this case it might be even more so

Thus demonstrating again the insanity of the US Justice system. Ridiculous punitive sentences just cost the taxpayer more. I thought Elon was trying to cut government waste?

(For reference someone in the UK torching a Tesla dealership would probably be looking at a maximum of 8 years (category 1A high value, intention to cause serious damage to property), but more likely 1B (9 months to 3 years).

Burn a car, go to jail for 20 years, but you can shoot someone and you are declared innocent or given a pardon if the victim is the wrong colour.
