Towing the Putin line nicely. Right down to the "Special Military Operation" shtick whilst in the same sentence presumably accidentally acknowledging that it is in fact a bloody war. I'd stay away from windows and staircases if i were George. Im sure RecordAce will be along to clear things up as soon as the red army have replaced his betavoltaic battery system...

In terms of actual political damage, Galloway's impact is likely to be close to zero, unlike the former MP for Uxbridge.

It is all a laugh seeing the tories and labour trounced by an outsider. The tragedy is that Starmer's inability or unwillingness to offer something different is dangerous for democracy.

The reason why Galloway came in is nothing to do with that.

He came in because Labour stopped backing their own candidate, because of that candidate spreading an idiotic and palpably anti-semitic conspiracy theory.

Galloway saw his chance and took it. Galloway offers nothing. He will be a loud braying voice that will attract headlines because the media is now driven by clickbait.

He was a candidate at the time the Labour chap was disowned by his party. Nominations were already closed at that point which was, no doubt well known to those who published both recordings.

Whether Galloway would have won against an organised and funded Labour campaign is another question. I suspect not.

Last time round he apparently had an attendance record so poor that it was beaten only by Sinn Fein and an MP who had passed away. He has zero interest in actually doing anything and the people of Rochdale will have a constituency MP who won't live there, won't do anything for individuals who need help, and will treat his tenure as a gravy train. His election is depressing on so many levels.

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
LOL. Look, we all know Galloway is a preening narcissist and a terrible cunt, but if you're not enjoying this, you should probably check if you even have a pulse.

He's saying the same things as the Tory MPs did throughout the premiership of that other preening narcissistic daffodil, basically 'we won, you lost so fark you'. Two cheeks of the same arse.

You've got to admire his indefatigability if nothing else.

That is true. But it is also true that he smacked down very deftly the "but hamas" what aboutery.
