Harry and Megan's new vid is out, the Royal Famalam are unhappy, the press apoplectic, some MPs are outraged and Netflix are coining-it in.
Those that are culpable don't see the part they play in all of this.
Whilst millions can barely heat their homes and rely on food-banks, why does this country still buy-into the royal soap opera?

I agree, let's bevrid of them. To that end I'm going to boycott this thread, as I'm sure you're all going to heed the Daily Mail's (via some government nonentity) call to boycott Netflix.

President Scargill, President Thatcher, President Blair, President Farage ...

Edit: Don't want to derail your thread, so ... as much as you may dislike the royal family as the personification of privilege, aren't Harry and Meghan simply privilege feeling sorry for itself? Using their royal status to cash in?

I suppose it shows that racism is no respecter of privilege.
On the other hand, I don't for a moment imagine that anyone would offer to make a Netflix documentary about my dislike of my in-laws (if I had any).

So many things happening in the world to upset poor toomuchfoodie, how do you manage to even raise a smile with things so bad.

You poor, poor burdened soul.

I bet you lie awake at night in your Barret box worrying how you're going to help the less fortunate amongst us whilst still finding time to remind this colossus of a forum of the woes we face.

What a Man, what a Man!!

My take on it exactly.

They want privacy, why don't they just sod off and stop squawking, I for one will not miss them.

When you say we are you including other posters or are you just speaking for yourself? ...

It's also possible that privilege is no respecter or racism.

I dislike the use of "we" when "I" is meant. Inaccurate and misleading. In this case I'm doubly at fault because I wouldn't include myself in this "we".

I suppose I was referring to some imaginary great British royal-loving public.

I will try harder to be accurate.
