Your slant is ignoring that people call London, city of. Meaning greater London.

So for greater London the available stats for 2023 are also very surprising . If he access to more current data, then he could well be correct

In 2023, 67.4% of live births in London were to parents where either one or both were born outside the UK, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Additionally, 59% of live births in London (61,357 out of 104,246) were to non-UK-born mothers. A post on X from July 1, 2025, claims 84% of babies born in London had at least one foreign-born parent, but this lacks official confirmation and should be treated cautiously.Assuming the 67.4% figure from 2023 holds roughly steady for 2024, and given that London’s total live births were around 104,246 in 2023, approximately 70,262 babies would

I really makes me worried for what the future will be like for my children in this country.

I think that's probably generally been the case for parents through the ages, at various times in particular, but what's going on in the US at the moment does give heightened cause for concern, given the speed and thoroughness/recklessness of trying to install a Christian Nationalist regime and the neutering of the famed 'checks and balances'. It does feel like an inflexion point, and we have to hope that the UK manages to hold its shït together despite the likes of Farage trying to mimic Trump - we can be fairly certain that both US Maga movers and Russian destabilisers are cheering him on at the very minimum, and probably more than the 'very minimum' given the enormous amounts of money the oligarchs have already amassed.

All I can manage is a foreign-born grandmother. I feel deprived.

I had a great great grandfather born in Yorkshire... does that count?

I'm surprised it is that high. It needs to be a home birth and there are only about 7,000 residents from memory. Still, the kids get a cooler niche passport in my view.

Not to mention there was a guy on another cycling forum that claimed younger professionals couldn't afford to live there or anywhere within 50 miles of there so it must be Boomers having these babies.

Are the City of London weans produce of Spaffer Johnson or the Muskrat, who seem set on population increase?

Yes, it is all these Boomers with their younger, foreign born, partners. Jealousy is an unpleasant emotion 😂
