I think the challenge is in allowing mysogenistic AI porn whilst banning paedophilic AI porn.

While they figure out how to make Grok capable of telling whether an image is that of a child, it stands to reason that all AI porn should be allowed.

Rather like shootings, there is a constitutionally acceptable level of child abuse.

Maybe, though I'd have thought that the word prompts would have filtered a lot out, given what the peverts are asking for.

Not wanting to think too hard about it, but isn't it a case of uploading an image that is not as such illegal and then asking Grok to do something to it that wouldn't be illegal for some other image?

Dunno, but given the claims for AI, and the fact that Gemini and ChatGPT both say they don't allow it, I'm naively assuming it's possible.

I read that hundreds of accounts that created these ai images have been deleted by 𝕏 and thousands of images removed.

So E Musk has been proactive in combatting the recent news

There's probably no cause for concern that the AI system being integrated into the US military can't distinguish between a legal or illegal prompt

Tories getting on their high horses about the potential of X getting banned if they don't sort this out. Lots of waffle about all of the other bad stuff online so as that is allowed to remain this should be stopped seems to be the reasoning. Has anyone looked into any donations to Tory HQ or individual MPs from Musk or his companies?

The debate has certainly slipped into conflating AI altered images of adults with those of children. This is not helpful, they are literally different potential offences in the UK and one is clearly worse than the other.

I can't quite put my finger on what the proposed new emblem for UKIP reminds me of...

Which is worse, and why?

I think the fact that these actions are very much "reactive" and absolutely not "proactive" is part of the problem.
