The fact that WWW is a free service must be so alien to the modern tech bros who seek to monetise everything they do.

Not that I was in the market for a Tesla anyway, but they seem to be the Evri of car makers. (Side note - US car manufacturers generally don't seem to cover themselves in glory generally.)

Why such a huge jump up to Toyota? All other brands seem to be fairly closely matched.

I admit my old Toyota was very reliable but probably the most boring car I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned some boring cars.

I'm constantly impressed by how Yamaha *everything* is consistently well designed and produced, from motorbikes to wooden piccolos: it's a vast range of output, but you can pretty much guarantee at whatever price level you go for, the product will be decently made and reliable. It's been like that for decades.
