There are some 'interesting' points of view coming from certain members of the Green Party. It'll be instructive to see how Polanski deals with such views, especially from prospective candidates.

I imagine the Met is by far the largest and most high profile police force in the country which goes some way to explaining the perception.
This particular case does seem 'odd' to put it mildly though.

An aspect that seemed "odd" to me watching the report was how our Police forces keep saying how they are over-stretched, not enough resource but after their initial talk with the girl deciding there was no reason for them to act, they spent 15 mins following her. To he that raised questions about them "trying to find something, some reason to apprehend"....
