I was going to share this as a 'Good news' thing, then wondered "down from when? Is this a rolling monthly average, and if so, over what timescale? Or is this comparing June 2026 with June 2025? Or with December 2025?

In the early days of The Independent (late 80s) they had a policy of not reporting 'royal news', though I have a vague memory of them putting a few column lines on about p8 about something that was dominating all the other papers' headlines... and they even got stick for that.
