On University degree courses I've done over the last 20 years it has always been explicitly stated (in course materials) that they use software packages to scan submitted corse work to check for plagiarism. Can't remember the names of the different packages but they stated what packages they used and what those packages did.

Wow. It brings home how little some areas make.
I live in Bexley. One of the poorer boroughs.
I’m amazed it raises more income tax than Liverpool and Cardiff.
I would bet that it has comparatively very little spent on it, it is very unfashionable when compared to Liverpool or Cardiff.
Burnham will have to be careful about shifting loads of cash around, as not all of London is paved with gold.

Shock news here is that the most expensive places in the country that attract the wealthiest people in the country generate more income tax than the areas of the country that don't.

I asked Google to confirm my opinion of the man

I have the original model of the Planar 3 with the mains motor. Currently have 2 Rega arms R200 and RB250 ( with upgraded tungsten counterweight) , both of which don't work correctly . The R200 anti skate belt has snapped the RB250 has an earth hum from hell.

I have the same early 80s Planar 3 with R200.

As you're probably aware, the bias belt is known to give up after all those years and I had mine replaced by TheVinylSource (as far as I know a one man band enthusiast) a couple of years ago. He did a fantastic job replacing the belt (which involves the addition of a shim) and also replaced the wiring with much higher quality hardware) and added a much needed ground wire. You'll need to remove the R200 tonearm mechanism and send it to him but, if you're thinking of doing this, I would advise doing it quickly as i know there were a very limited number of suitable belts out there that are not being manufactured any longer

This, along with a "service" done by myself after watching a YouTube Video by the excellent Cheshire Audio and a new AT stylus saw the old thing back up and running brilliantly.

Saying that he could never be a teacher because he might rape his pupils is certainly provocative.

The one I have is the R200, which were made by Acos. The new Ortophon cartridge I fitted this year needs more anti-skate but the belt, like yours, has perished and appear to be a nightmare to replace. I did investigate some of the more ingenious bodges on the interweb but decided to live with it for now.

Ceuta is a territory of Spain. Morocco refers to it as occupied territory. Whenever diplomatic relations sour between Morocco and Spain, there tends to be a mass invasion of Moroccan's claiming asylum.

It is not representative migration, and the Moroccans always return back to Morocco.

I know the political background. However, Spain is known to be a soft touch and has previously given amnesty to illegal immigrants, which gives others the idea that they could be made legal. That's a pull factor.

Because certain right wing fascist self-gratification artists like Meloni have used it as an excuse to attack Spain.

Pedro Sanchez has specifically asked for the meeting as Italy is out of line having announced that it is suspending its Schengen border with Spain. There are also issues with the Russians spreading fake news and disinformation and Denmark, Poland and Sweden backing Italy's criticisms of Spain.

Spain is mightily pissed off that previous incidents like this were met with solidarity from the rest of the EU and that they are not getting support here.

Sánchez said that while most EU countries had expressed support and solidarity over events in Ceuta, others had chosen to attack Spain.

“Such an attitude – driven by prejudice, fake news, ignorance or political interest – is … contrary to European law, humanitarian law and the principles of solidarity that bind us together,” he said.

In a pointed rebuke to Italy, he noted that Spain was “according to Frontex, one of the least porous external borders of the European Union, with a number of irregular entries that is half that recorded, for example, in Italy in recent years (2021–26)”.
