Sounds reasonable, if ever I feel the need to become a football fan, it will have to be Sunderland or Newcastle. Two further reasons for resisting 😊

The Wheelers had their annual do there a couple of times, but the beer was terrible, as was the wine. So we've gone elsewhere since.

Vast and expensive. Also rather 'corporate'. The last (only) time I saw them actually play was at the old St Thomas ground, all wood and corrugated iron.

At 75 years old, I think upping my monthly cycling mileage up, from 150 miles, to 950 miles, may be a trifle ambitious
