I mean we knew this already .
But it's really not good news..

I agree the sentiment in terms of no we haven't done enough.
And still aren't ..

But this kind defeatist language plays into the hands of the

"Oh well let's not bother even trying brigade"

--Often the same ones who were denying the existence of CC five minutes ago.

No we won't stop climate change in our lifetimes, or even see much effect from what we do.


But every tenth of a degree heating reduction counts.
If we can manage to slow things down, some future suffering can be alleviated.

Not giving up hope just yet .
Don't want to live a life without hope..

Meanwhile white American dudes, who believe they have 'God' on their side, rail against women's reproductive rights.

Stand in the way of womens emancipation, which provably reduces the birth rate.

And continue to expect their fossil fuelled pensions to keep them in the comfortable air conditioned spaces they've come to enjoy

And continue to get air time on primetime TV.

Having stood smartarsely in the way of the people battling on the frontline of climate change, and ecosystem decline for decades .

So Bill, where were you thirty years ago??
