Having changed jobs and being back to commuting to Bristol a couple of times a week (by train other than having to drive to the station) I noticed they were digging up the area around Templemeads which is all to do with
this project to expand the existing community heat network (that I didn't realise existed despite having worked in Bristol for a significant part of the last 25 years or so). I guess this is what happens when you put a bunch of lefties in charge of running a city why aren't they spending money erecting flagpoles and being patriotic instead of wasting money on the climate change con"? If only more councils would be this forward thinking (I've assumed it is a good thing but I'm half expecting someone to explain why it actually isn't and doesn't really help the environment).
