I don't know any details of arrests on these marches, so I'm going to ask an ignorant question:
- How come 1000s are disrupting hard-working Londoners in the name of Palestine without being stopped by our brave police, whilst
- 65 JSO (peaceful) slow-marchers were all arrested in Parliament Square earlier this week?

DId the peace marchers just play correctly by the rules? Or are they like wildebeest, too numerous to tackle?!?

The answer, and the lesson, is in the question.

Realistically, too risky to tackle the small number who might be breaking the law without potentially putting officers in danger over what is a public order offence. I think someone from the Met admitted this. Easier to identify them from footage afterwards.

So you're saying that of the 1000s, only a "small number might be breaking the law"; but all of the 65 were?

Well, according to our egregious home secretary, those devious pro palestinian demonstrators kept their behaviour within the law, thus depriving the police of an excuse to arrest them. The law may need to be changed to avoid that happening again, Mrs Braverman dixit.
