That popped up in my FB feed. I was so surprised that I did a bit of digging.
Apparently it is all above board, for now. I expect some rigorous re-writing of the rules given the questions being asked.

What percentage correct do you think he is?My favourite Dan Neidle has done one of his hit pieces. Not convinced he is 100% correct.

Oh dear, another leftie tax dodger.

Bit late to the party aren't you?
Just highlights he's a "chancer". When his time leading the Greens is over he'll likely find some unregulated sector and start some self-employed scheme eg Homeopathy? or "Counselling"? Maybe bust enlargement using water (sorry, using homeopathic treatments).Oh dear, another leftie tax dodger.

Or that Council Tax is a bit more complicated when it comes to boats?Just highlights he's a "chancer".

As has been explained to him more than once.
He is proposing major changes to our tax system across the UK. If he can't understand Council Tax on boats, doesn't ask the Council about it what confidence can we have about him having properly thought through the tax changes he is proposing.Or that Council Tax is a bit more complicated when it comes to boats?

After he became Green Party leader (and proposing these major tax changes) Rory Stewart & Alistair Campbell interviewed Polanski for their podcast and he didn't even know the difference between "Debt" and "Deficit" (I didn't hear the interview but they do periodically refer back to it when appropriate).
