But it isn't. It's open to help show it's Zach Polanski because he has a gap in his teeth.
If it had him rubbing hands together like the happy merchant it would be closer as well, but it doesn't.
None so blind...

So does Kemi. The cartoon looks as much like her as it does Polanski. If it wasn't for the 'vote green' badge I'd have no idea of who it was supposed to represent. But it isn't. It's open to help show it's Zach Polanski because he has a gap in his teeth.
Is power a poisoned chalice, do we think? They promised unicorns and rainbows, and gave you brown, green and black bins, but made you pay for the brown ones?My local constituency gave a predictable but interesting Council vote. Ever since I lived here it's been a 110% safe Conservative seat, every election until last General Election when we got a Green MP and then Green local council.
So having turned Green, this election Reform won, the Conservatives just 5% below on vote share ... Greens down at almost 10% below Reform. And our Green MP is actually quite good, does his job OK, etc. sohe probably hasn't turned voters away given his job record. So I put the turning away from Green as caused by the national Party/Polanski.
Anecdotal but to me an indicator.
Part of the distinction is that the Greens present themselves as holier than thou. Which means if you aren't you get criticised disproportionately. See Exhibit A - Angela Rayner.
They aren't unique in this, but it is a contrast to Fagash, at least.
Whilst 100% recognising that it's obvious that the RW press is digging up every little bit of dirt on Polanski they can, it seems he has also made it easy. Latest ones are that he claimed to have worked at the Ministry of Justice (he hasn't), and that he might have dodged paying Council Tax on his narrow boat.
As much as I would argue that the same amount of scrutiny should be going into Farage (whose misdemeanours are much more egregious), it's unfortunate that the Greens have picked someone who, it seems, has not been entirely honest, several times.

It's worse than that. Have you seen how much pollution Narrow Boats create with their Diesel engines?!As much as I would argue that the same amount of scrutiny should be going into Farage (whose misdemeanours are much more egregious), it's unfortunate that the Greens have picked someone who, it seems, has not been entirely honest, several times.
Why is it unfortunate?
Read to the end of the sentence. Brian explained why.
Scottish Greens say new MSP will be able to stay in Scotland to serve at Holyrood on graduate visa
The Scottish Greens MSP who won their Holyrood seat on a student visa has said they have applied for a graduate visa which will let them stay in the UK for the next three years.
Q Manivannan, a Tamil Indian who recently gained a PhD from St Andrews University and identifies as trans, was elected to the Scottish parliament last Friday on the Edinburgh and Lothians East regional list, helping the Scottish Greens win a record 15 seats.
Despite having no UK citizenship or permanent residency, Manivannan was allowed to stand for Holyrood under recent rule changes which allow anyone living in Scotland to contest devolved elections.
Critics of his election suggested he could be breach of UK visa rules if he worked for more than 20 hours or tried to employ people. Immigration lawyers have confirmed those rules do not apply in his case, and agree he is legally able to be an MSP with a graduate visa – at least until 2029.
