My favourite Dan Neidle has done one of his hit pieces. Not 100% convinced he is correct.

Just highlights he's a "chancer".
Or that Council Tax is a bit more complicated when it comes to boats?

He is proposing major changes to our tax system across the UK. If he can't understand Council Tax on boats, doesn't ask the Council about it what confidence can we have about him having properly thought through the tax changes he is proposing.

After he became Green Party leader (and proposing these major tax changes) Rory Stewart & Alistair Campbell interviewed Polanski for their podcast and he didn't even know the difference between "Debt" and "Deficit" (I didn't hear the interview but they do periodically refer back to it when appropriate).

Perhaps his reforms will make it really easy to unferstand, such as by abolishing it and replacing it with an annual tax based on where you live and how big your house is?

I'm not convinced Dan Neidle understands the government's policy on canal boats, because according to that it should come down to the marina terms and conditions, and he ignores that.

I'd also like to ask him whether he thinks living in a hotel room for a year should result in council tax, or whether it comes down to the agreement between the hotel and guest.

Blimey. He has strong views on the NHS and asylum and he isn't a doctor or a foreigner either. You're right. No point in him even bothering.
I mean it's not as if the PM could appoint someone who knows all about money and accounts to run that bit of the government is it...

Oh wait...

Who's that person who lives next to the PM at No.11?
