The journalist was added to the group by the National Security Advisor. None of the group thought to look at who was in the group chat? None of the group, including Vance, thought such discussions should be on a Government secure network?
Utter incompetence, all the way from the minions in DOGE, to the most senior officials responsible for security.

This was in compliance with an executive order issued by the orange rapist. But because the email was sent unclassified, this potentially exposes the agents to overseas government security services and pretty much kills their careers.

It also transpires that (apparently) the Trump official (Witkoff) who was parroting Kremlin talking points about Ukraine the other day was actually in Moscow while participating in the group chat. How many red flags does one need?

Whilst he might not want to know so he can plausibly deny being part of the fark-up, OTOH, he is Supreme Commander of US forces, so seems kinda poor form not to be in command. I have a feeling that he might be miffed at some of the comments and way it was done, even if he's happy not to be directly implicated.

I find the whole anti Europe sentiment odd. I assume it is because there are several far right populists in the Trump administration that despise liberal democracies?

I think they just hate everyone - except the people they know would beat them in a fist-fight, so they pretend to like them.

I think it starts off with hating themselves, these people seem to have a deep seated self loathing with manifests itself as a startling arrogance and hatred of decent people.
