Depends on which side of the fence

If I heard that Starmer, Macron would be my first thought

What moronic things have Starmer or Macron done?
They haven't crashed the stockmarket, or caused a flight from their government issued debt, or shat on their allies, or stated they want to take over over other sovereign territories, or cosied up to Putin, or tried to humiliate the leader of a nation that has been invaded by a dictator ........
There are things I may disagree with them about, but they haven't done any of the moronic things I mention above that the tangoed Tw@t has done in the last 9 weeks.
If you can't see that, then it is further confirmation that MAGA fanbois are morons too.

To me Trump's focus on bilateral trade deficits is just daft and highlights his failure to understand anything not corresponding to his simplistic preconceptions.

eg
Country A buys $100 of stuff from country B but sells only $10 to them.
Country B buys $100 of stuff from country C but sells only $10 to them.
Country C buys $100 of stuff from country A but sells only $10 to them.

They all have big bilateral trade deficits but the 3 way system is in balance with no overall surpluses or deficits (ignoring my typo/finger troubles).

The problem is that you are applying logic to a simple non-logical person.

Nothing for their own people.

At least Trump is protecting his own people. His allies have been freeloading for decades, whilst having anti equal trading practices.

Zelensky needed a dressing down after his attitude. Europe and bidens administration were doing nothing to end the war in Ukraine until Trump came to power.

He's taken on China and their economy

Stock markets go up and down, loved the status quo because it was all about multinationals businesses controlling world trade at USA every increasing debt.

So someone steps in and shakes it up. Good, we certainly need something like this on the UK

What attitude? Is it worse than Putin’s attitude?
Zelensky is not the aggressor, he is the leader of a nation under attack and does not just want to appease the aggressor.
The only attitudes that were wrong in that meeting were Trump’s and his poodle Vance.

Good to see you back. Hope you are well. Your absence was noted.

Awwww....
All well thanks, just furiously busy at work and home and have been burying my head in the sand at the parlous state of the world!

Now planning on offshoring U.S. prisoners even if they are U.S. citizens.

"Trump has not ruled out the possibility that he would try to send US inmates to the notorious Salvadorean prison Cecot to which he has deported Venezuelan nationals.
Recently, a reporter asked him about Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele’s offer in February to house US prisoners in the facility, saying he would take them “for a fee”.
"I love it," Trump told reporters on Air Force One.
"If he would take them, I'd be honoured to give them. I don't know what the law says on that, but I can't imagine the law would say anything different... If they can house these horrible criminals for a lot less money than it costs us, I'm all for it.”
Trump has also suggested that those who vandalize Tesla cars should be sent to foreign prisons. Civil rights groups say the move would violate the US constitution."

Zelensky had an argument in the oval office in front of the world stage.

Fascinating to watch but really shouldn't have been done on front of the press.

Trump patiently waited for 40 mins being amenable, but eventually lost his patience. Told him some home truths
