I suppose there isn't a great deal of point in mentioning that anyone with even a vague idea of the history of LA would know that what Trump is doing is a seriously bad idea.

Not only that but the way it's being portrayed as the whole city in some kind of meltdown is nuts. It's vast, like incomprehensibly vast, and last night's curfew applied to the equivalent of a stamp on a billboard.

Interesting to see that protests are planned in the MAGA heartland of Texas too, that could get seriously messy.

The trouble with that approach is that he has to up the ante every time he needs to divert attention.

I find it odd that the military is playing along with Trump, given that they all swore an oath to the Constitution, not Trump.
