Where do you get this stuff from? The world cup games are hugely demanding on infrastructure etc. I really doubt it could be moved to other cities with 12 months to go. The organisation takes years, not months.

In 2011 the UK had some of the worst rioting in many decades. Yet the 2012 Olympics are viewed as a great olympics even though they were mainly hosted in one of the areas affected by the rioting.

The travel ban has an specific exemption for sports competitions, but if I was an member of the Iranian national team I would not trust the US reich to stick to their commitments.

The mayor of LA is calling businesses to help with cleaning up the city in preparation for the world cup.

The same mayor and governor calling for rioters to take to the streets, making the city a shîthole.

As Biden says, invite the third world you get a dump of a city or in this case a state.

It's rather hypocritical of Newsom, to wipe the area clean when the Chinese came for a visit, but ask for help when he created it

Coaches, physios etc are at risk.
It’s the families and supporters who won’t be able to travel. Which is very sad.
