He clearly gets to you given the reaction you make to the posts.

I guess so, in a way. It's probably less the irritation/anger I assume you're supposing, more like a morbid fascination/exaspreration with a captive, live example of the unfiltered nutters & headcases that run amok all over what used to be Twitter.

I do derive a sort of grubby, slightly shameful amusement from it.

I wonder if there's a similar condition called Leftie Derangement Syndrome where people find no fault in the policies of right of centre Parties that govern for years but when 'Lefties' do much the same thing it needs constant critcism.

Sinister Syndrome?

To be fair most of us would be blissfully unaware they had even posted if others didn't keep quoting them. The world would be a much better place then.

It wouldn't, though.

I'm sure there are loads of places which succeed at presenting the illusion that the world's a better place than it actually is! I don't choose to frequent an unmoderated, uncensored (apart from those Bad Sweary Words!) political discussion forum to kid myself that everyone wants to live in some Utopian fair, equal respectful & kind world, when they blatantly don't.

Very probably. But there's no shortage of lefties finding fault with right of centre parties though, so why bother with that? 🙂

And as bidden, the new US jobs statistics supremo comes up Trumps. No data reports, no job losses. Right?

The KKK peaked with approx. 4.6m members in the mid 60's but has splintered. There are well over 250 right wing extremist groups in the US now (but I posted this ages ago though I find you don't read my posts).

I am quite happy to edit my post to read "I wonder if the over 250 right wing extremist groups in the US counts as a well maintained militia?".
Point still stands, and yes, I do read your posts.

ITV aren't much better. I watched their report yesterday and whilst it wasn't complementary, it seemed to be missing key ingredients that the online media put in.
Do you watch The Bulwark ? Some good very conversation and commentaries in there.
That just doubles down my original point.
No, I haven't watched The Bulwark as I am too busy now that I am retired, which is a whole other subject.
