They can, but will they? This lot are going to leave so much of this shyte around that is going to almost need a full tear down of the state institutions to fix it.

A lot of it is simply renaming things and replacing signs. His vanity (like the man) knows no excess but has no depth.

I have noticed in my cycling feeds that USAnian cyclists are fed up of the prices rising so they are buying from abroad.
They thought tariffs were included in shipping. They are now experiencing first hand how tariffs really work, and who pays them.

And that at a time when prices have been falling because of over-capacity (in contrast to the price hikes during covid - it shows how right Shimano were in not adding extra capacity in response to that sudden spike in demand).

Haha, they really are sooooo thin-skinned, and obviously have never heard of the Streisand effect. Good work, that pastor.

Missed this, but the second attempt by the regime to vindictively prosecute Letitia James has been dismissed by a grand jury.

Edit; They presumably thought this one would be easier than the Comey case.

Another nail in the coffin of US tourism.
I bought the annual parks pass when I toured California and the south west. We visited 5 parks on a 2 week trip.

But always wanted to return to do Yellowstone

Now I would have to pay $1000 just to take my family of 4 into Yellowstone.

Compare that to Canada; June 19 to 7 September - free.

In fairness in Canada a national park has essentially no facilities. It is just somewhere you can go to get hypothermia, lost and/or eaten. In the US the national parks allow people to see all the world's wonders via a 100m long board walk from a convenient parking space. That has to be paid for.

Many of the US ones are also heavily overly used (within a few hundred metres of all of the roads obviously). Getting into Yellowstone by car used to involve driving. Now it involves booking years in advance. I was in Yosemite Valley on labour day weekend in 2015 and enjoyed some of theongest most picturesque traffic jams of my life. I would need to book in advance to go there as well now. There are queues for the Instagram shot at Delicate Arch. I could go on. Were I American I might feel justified in thinking I should get some sort of priority to my own national parks.

I'm sold on the idea...

...of never going there.
