Get on,

the opposition almost without fail votes against government bills. Same here in the UK as well as many other countries
Some of the biggest votes to take place in parliament ...

Both sides voted for the Belfast Agreement. Both sides voted to invade Iraq. Both sides became stuck over Brexit - Johnson now admits he sided with the wrong team; Farage admitted Brexit hasn't worked.

One question is what are you for, by which I mean, what good are you?

Why of course, that's why political parties spend a lot of time and money on winning elections, it matters. But also why very rich people tend to be Presidents and Prime Ministers.

Anyway, a lot of votes that go through parliament are amendments to existing bills. So already have its supporters.

But polarising issues tend to divide.

Here's a few recent examples:

https://votes.parliament.uk/votes/commons/division/1877 - End of Life bill (second reading)

You have cherry picked a few, but the vast majority of votes the opposition goes against the sitting government.

You'll find Farage said Brexit wasn't implemented properly (mis mash of arrangements), that's the reason it's hasn't worked.

Just saw this. Either

a) The US Army Chorus did a magnificent job of trolling Trump at the White House Governors Ball.
b) Trump is beyond stupid and trolled himself by requesting the song

The song choice was "Do you hear the people sing?" from Les Miserables - a song about the people rising up to resist a corrupt government.

Which ever take you care to believe it's still very amusing.

It's the latter for sure, because he's viewing it from the wrong side.

Still funny as f*ck though.

Just watching Trump and Vance, with Zelensky live on BBC News. Trump and Vance are bags of shite, that is being generous.

Among other things they were saying that Ukraine were having difficulty conscripting soldiers to fight, I assume Trump and Vance are too young to remember draft dodgers during Vietnam war.

I listened on the radio. It was a planned ambush with Trump and his bully sidekick, taking turns to shout at him.

They even claimed Zelenskyy hasn’t said thank you. When he did so many times and has a standing ovation in the Senate 2 years ago.

All hope is now lost.
