When Musk was asked earlier this month about one of the inaccurate statements he had promoted, he conceded that “some of the things that I say will be incorrect, and should be corrected.” But “some” might be an understatement. The billionaire businessman has made or amplified numerous false or misleading assertions in the past month alone, largely on the X social media platform he owns.
Here are eight examples.

Maybe some Lincolnshire folk might have something to say about it 🤣

Easy to defeat unfortunately. I'd just introduce them to an armchair, slippers, a roaring open fire and a pipe and they'll fall asleep in no time.

Then the work can begin.

Spare a thought for poor Elon, we Europeans have stopped buying his cars it would appear:

Tesla shares slump after European sales fall https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgd9v3r69qo

Thing I don;t understand is that Trump have never been a fan of electric cars

and yet Musk has jumped in with both feet first to supporting him in a big way

almost as if share prices and sales of Tesla are not a big problem for him

not sure why
stupidity seems unlikely
having so much money that nothing matters may be more likely

but I suspect a plan - no idea what or how because this level of finance is something I don;t know about
but I suspect he will come out on top

I think he's more about the rockets these days. I don't think he cares that much about who does or doesn't buy a Tesla. What they have in common is a capitalist small government way of thinking which seeks to extract the US from as much time and money consuming peripheral activity as possible, whether it's military adventures abroad, Nato, or USAID. Unlike, say, Clinton who wanted peace in the middle east to be part of his legacy, or GW Bush who gradually moved towards a soft power stance, I think Trump just wants the situations in Gaza and Ukraine wrapped up asap in a way that benefits the US. He doesn't really care what the resolution actually is, or who else benefits or loses out. Same with USAID. He'll gladly chuck the baby out with the bathwater.
