Eeyore told you that weeks ago.
Nobody listens to Eeyore.

You're right.
What is concerning (as mentioned by others too before someone starts jumping up and down like me) is this Gilead concept. It's almost as if Trump is rushing to do these things ahead of the mid terms. If the cohort of oil barons get rich quick whilst the Tech billionaires are controlling AI/media, they have the money and ultimately, the power to...

Remove the indicators of performance, economy, weather etc? If you don't report weather, then there's no climate change and neither 'windmills' nor climate change fits in with fossil fuels.
Does Donnie know what's happening? Are the Project 2025 back room boys using his impaired mental state?

It is true it is not controlled by those countries but it is controlled by one man who is politically motivated and has his own definition and control of free speech.

From AI:

Elon Musk’s approach to content on X follows a stated philosophy of "Freedom of Speech, Not Freedom of Reach," prioritizing visibility restrictions over outright bans. While he has branded himself a "free speech absolutist," his leadership has involved both the removal of traditional content moderation and the implementation of new forms of restriction.

Censorship of Content ("Freedom of Reach")
Under Musk, X has shifted away from permanent bans for many violations, instead opting to limit the reach of certain posts.
  • Visibility Filtering: X uses "shadowbanning" or visibility filtering to limit the reach of content deemed harmful or low-quality without removing it.
  • Selective Suppression: Reports indicate X has limited the reach of posts containing specific keywords (e.g., "trans").
  • Monetization Penalties: In 2024 and 2025, several high-profile accounts reported losing premium features or verification (blue ticks) after criticizing Musk's personal views, such as his stance on immigration.
  • Government Compliance: X has significantly increased its compliance with government requests to remove or block content globally, notably in countries with stricter speech laws.

Censorship of Users (Who Can Be on X)
Musk has drastically altered the criteria for who is allowed on the platform, though the process remains controversial.
  • General Amnesty: Shortly after taking over, Musk reinstated thousands of previously banned accounts, including controversial figures like Tommy Robinson and Katie Hopkins.
  • Targeted Suspensions: Despite the "amnesty," Musk has been accused of suspending journalists who are critical of him or his companies.
  • Platform Enforcement: X continues to permanently suspend millions of accounts for "severe violations

Someone ought to sort that AI, it's telling truths.

Senator Mark Warner, intelligence committee vice chair. The full statement is worth a read:

https://www.warner.senate.gov/publi...rner-responds-to-military-action-in-venezuela

[Rubio claimed that despotic leaders are a destabilising factor in their own back yard (as if regime change isn't de-stabilising) ... and other bollocks about oil and that the oil revenue would help the people of Venezuela... wait a moment, he meant the oil revenue would help Exxon etc... How much powder has he been taking? The oil is helping the people of Venezuela, it's just that they cannot extract it quicker and the revenue is being syphoned off.
Just a gram or two more of the white stuff and he might start blurting the truth.
There is this idea that a deal was made where Russia gets Ukraine and the USA gets Venezuela. How much in that is true, we don't know).]

“The hypocrisy underlying this decision is especially glaring. This same president recently pardoned former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, who was convicted in a U.S. court on serious drug trafficking charges, including conspiring with narcotics traffickers while in office. Yet now, the administration claims that similar allegations justify the use of military force against another sovereign nation. You cannot credibly argue that drug trafficking charges demand invasion in one case, while issuing a pardon in another.

Apparently you can.
As long as you ignore the hypocrisy.

Looks that USA is the place to setup a multi national business.

It is exempt from the OECD 15% corporate tax agreement .

Actually Trump said we're not gonna do that shįt

I can't help but wonder whether it would have been less constipated with the UK involved.

I think it has had the opposite effect. As the UK can now sanction someone quite quickly, it has put pressure on the EU to move quicker in order to avoid looking like a bunch of countries that can't agree on anything.

The UK can now sanction someone quite quickly, but will they without consensus?

The UK has already done this. It's another Brexit upside.

If they are knowingly using a mentally unwell president to get things done then they are leaving themselves open to future legal actions by less favourable political opponents.
Dangerous game to play.

You lot are clutching at straws if you believe trump is mentally unwell. We could all see Bidens problems despite the MSM telling us the opposite.

Away with the 🧚‍♂️ 🧚‍♀️ 🧚‍♂️ 🧚‍♀️ NCAP lefties.
